Meru Campus KMTC Courses, and Duration
It will take you 2 years to complete a KMTC Certificate Course, except for a nursing certificate that lasts for a duration of 2 ½ years before completion. On the other hand, Diploma Courses take 3 years, except for Community Health Nursing diploma which takes 3 ½ years.

Meru KMTC Campus Minimum Course Entry Requirements for Diploma, Certificate, and Higher Diploma Applicants
The minimum set entry requirement for admissions to KMTC to pursue a Certificate Course is a minimum KCSE aggregate of C-. In addition to the above grade, specific qualifications in cluster subjects have to be met.
In order to pursue a Diploma Course: a minimum mean grade of C plain (or its equivalent) in KCSE is mandatory. In addition, a combination of other subjects such as English, Kiswahili, Biology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Physical Sciences, will play a key role.
Lastly, Higher Diploma Courses require a minimum of a basic Diploma in relevant fields, and at least a minimum of two years of work experience.

The students use • Meru Teaching and Referral Hospital close to the Campus for their clinical experience. In addition, they also use the Rural Health facilities within and outside Meru County.
