Even though there are many rather affordable schools in Uganda, there are a lot of expensive ones as well. Why they’re expensive is a topic for another article, but the following list contains the most expensive schools in Uganda and the annual school fees budget range.
1. International school of Uganda, Lubowa
Strategically located in the rich neighborhoods of Lubowa village, the International School of Uganda tops the list, ranging between $5,500 to $28,900 annually.
2. Kampala international school, Uganda
Being one of the most famous and oldest international schools in Uganda, KISU is located in Kyebando, Bukoto. Students here pay between $5,190 to $27,370 annually.
3. GEMS Cambridge international school
Having one of the highest academic and lifestyle standards on Uganda’s academic scene doesn’t come for cheap. GEMS Cambridge International school is located in Butabika and school fees range between $6,000 to $17,500 annually.
4. Rainbow international school
Located around the rich neighborhoods of Kansanga, Rainbow International School fees range between $5,030 to $14,555 annually.
5. Galaxy international school
Galaxy International school is also located in Lubowa, and the school fees range between $4,760 to $12,820 annually.
6. 7 hills international school
Located in the heart of Kampala, 7 Hills international school’s annual school fees range between $8,000 to $12,600
7. Ambrosoli international school
Ambrosoli international school is situated in Bugolobi, and its annual school fees range between $7,000 to 12,000
8. Heritage international school
Heritage international school is located in the heart of Kansanga, and its annual school fees range between $6,000 to $11,900.

Acacia International school is strategically located in Muyenga, the richest neighborhood in Uganda. Their school fees range between $5,000 to $10,000 annually.

Located along the Northern bypass highway, Kampala, Acorns International school is clearly showcased to all by-passers, thereby having the advantage of exposure. Their annual school fees range between $2,400 to $9,770.
Conclusion;
The school fees rates haven’t been converted to Uganda shillings due to the fluctuation of the currency. However, these are the standard rates at the moment, and they aren’t subject to the rate of the shilling.
